Key Points for Class X Math

Applications of Trigonometry (Heights and Distances)

1. Description for the diagram is compulsory.
2. For angle of depression the horizontal line is compulsory.
3, Do not get confused with the values of tan 30 degrees and tan 60 degrees.

Quadratic Equations

1. Read the question properly and check whether any particular method is mentioned (like
    Completing   Square Method)
2. Frame the equation carefully for speed related problems.

Coordinate Geometry

1. Write formula .
2. For a point on X axis the value of y = 0   and for a point on Y axis the value of x = 0.
3. (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) i.e., x1 must always be associated with y1.
   It is not  (x1, x2) and (y1,y2)This is wrong.
